is xanax good for long term use of anxiety disorders or would something else be less addicitve?

I have been perscribed .50 millagrams of xanax to use as needed for my panic disorder… I am taking 60 millagrams of prozac for OCD and major depression… I am wondering if xanax is okay for long term use or if there is another less addictive drug for anxiety disorders…
