Just my personal opinion, but his show started going downhill when Obama because the obvious nominee.
Seems like a lot of his arguments are just thinly disguised Obama bashing, with little substance to them. Obama could cut taxes and Rush would complain because Obama did it and had some ulterior motive.
Dealing with his addiction happened years before.

He was only good in the early-to-mid 90s. After that he just became a windbag so I stopped listening. I’m not sure exactly when his addiction started, but there you go.

I hardly ever listen to his show….it didn’t seem too different.
I remember listening a couple of times while he was hosting the show practically deaf…it was pretty astonishing.

Well, Pig Rush was brain dead before he started his experiments with pain killers…So , I would say. he ‘s much better today than before ..That is more brain dead ….LOL
Had no affect on the show. Always sucked. But it did prove that he’s not special in any way. We all have our vices.
