I’m very disappointed about my recent experience with a very simple prenatal ultrasound at Northwest Community Hospital. I am a reasonable consumer and I believe hospitals, like all places of business, are obligated to tell patients the cost of the services or products provided in advance if asked. In my experience, this hospital doesn’t believe in fair billing practices. Before I had my test done, I asked 2 separate people how much the test would cost.
