Meth has profound effects, causing hyperactivity, nerve damage, brain damage, rotting teeth, paranoia. Marijuana causes premature senility, mood disorders, brain cell damage and lung damage. Cocaine and crack cocaine can cause brain damage, mood disorders, and nasal cavity lining erosion. I also know each drug has the potential to cause heart damage. These are the ones I know, but I am sure there are more damages from each drug. Other drugs I am not certain what damages they cause. I had an older friend from my local school who began using cocaine while he was in the Navy and while he was a civilian. He literally changed in personality and now has the capacity of a 10 year old and requires assistance from family and mental/ developmentally disabled caretaking agency. It is very, very sad... It depends on the drug(s) used.
